Protocol FAQ

Absolutely not. Strix is a "Click-to-Trade" execution interface. While it automates the delivery of the order to the exchange (slicing, routing), the decision to enter or exit must always be physically initiated by the user via mouse click or keyboard shortcut.

Strix operates on the client side. If your internet disconnects, the heartbeat monitor will turn red. We strongly recommend maintaining a secondary mobile connection to your broker's native app for emergency exits in case of ISP failure.

The "Zero-Lockout" Guarantee: Strix will never block an exit order. Even if your subscription technically expires during a session, you retain full capability to square off open positions. New entries will only be blocked after you are flat.

Yes. Your broker API keys are stored locally in your browser's encrypted storage or session memory where possible. Strix servers act only as a bridge for validation and do not store your trading credentials permanently.

Risk Management Standard (RMS)

All users must adhere to strict risk protocols. The terminal is a tool; safety is a habit.

  • Capital Protection: Never deploy more than 2% risk per trade on the terminal.
  • Hard Stops: Always define a 'Panic Exit' level before entering a position.
  • No Revenge Trading: Use the "Lock Terminal" feature if you hit your daily loss limit.
